Retro wedding dresses belong to vintage style which was born in the era of 1970s. Have you ever heard about that? Such vintage style is not only popular in that era but also in this modern time. The dresses come with a high scoop neckline with no sleeves. Unlike the Hippie style which was full off adornments, Tulip dress was simpler with no beads or lace.
In 1970s, British pop star look was also popular and considered as retro wedding dresses as well. The dresses were very simple made of plain satin. The hemline ended at above the knee. They were often sleeveless with a high neckline. They were characterized with a long white see-through lace jacket which covers the body. The jackets did not come in full length but most of them were ¾ length. Actually there are still other styles derived from retro style but the styles aforementioned are the most popular ones that people in modern society like to wear them.
