Black Nail Lacquer to Polish Your Nails

Black nail lacquer is often used to polish nails for a professional or an evening affair. Polishing nails with black lacquer results in a chic and great look. There are some nail designs that use this kind of lacquer. The most popular one is the French nail manicure. This style usually is done with black or at least dark lacquer because it can generate a sleek and natural look in a simple way. It is true that nail polish done with black nail lacquer usually has a simple design. Other simple nail designs are the V-shape and X marks the spot. These two designs are quite popular. As the name implies, the V-shape design is made by making the V-shape for each nail. The challenge is to make sure that the point is right in the center of your nail. Sometimes, it is just difficult to make achieve the perfect V-shape.

There are some tips that help create a symmetrical V-shape. First, you should make a small black dot in the center of your nail. Use the dot to draw an X. You will then have four V shapes. Fill in only the top of the X, the right and the left side of the X with black nail lacquer. After the three part of the X have been filled in, you can see the bottom part forming a V-shape. You will no longer the X you created before. On the other hand, you can mark the X if you want too. This design is called X marks the spot. Find the X again by making a line with a silver nail art brush. The combination of black and silver is very elegant. Sometimes, depending on the brand and the quality of the nail lacquer, the silver line does not appear well. If this happens, you can repeat a second or even a third line until the silver line shows up.

Black nail lacquer can be used alone or combined with other colors to express your creativity.  Try to combine the black color with cherries. The combination will create a funky and feminine look. Or, you can make glittery black filigree to your nails and give them touches of vibrant polish. You can play not only with colors but also patterns. Black lacquer looks good with leopard print. The black lacquer is used as the background while the leopard print is drawn over the background in white and brown.
